Welcome!

The German Conference on Bioinformatics (GCB) is an annual, international conference devoted to all areas of bioinformatics. Recent meetings attracted a multinational audience with 250 – 300 participants each year.

The GCB 2012 is organized by the Jena Center for Bioinformatics (JCB) in cooperation with the German Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (DECHEMA) and the Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM).

The meeting is open to all fields of bioinformatics and theoretical systems biology. Five satellite workshops place thematic emphasis on diverse aspects of systems biology. These workshops take place on 19 September 2012 and are part of the conference program.
