The Institute of Computer Science at the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena, funded by the Carl-Zeiss-Stiftung, offers a Junior Professorship in Bioinformatics. An appointment as junior professor is time-limited to four years, and allows for a prolongation up to six years. The Junior Professorship comes with an additional staff position.
